“ SELARONG CAVE”

Selarong cave is a tourism place of history Pangeran Diponegoro at Dukuh,Kembangputih,Pajangan,Bantul, Yogyakarta.This place some kinds of padas stone and the hills, when was this place to quaters of gerilya Pangeran Diponegoro in war of java. In 1825 - 1830 gerilya Pangeran Diponegoro against army of Hindia Belanda. Pangeran Diponegoro move to Selarong because her home at Tegalrejo was burn as Belanda.

If we come to Selarong cave, when we arrived to the yard in front of Selarong cave, we can buy a ticket to the locket. The price one ticket is Rp 2.500,- for one person. And when we enter to the area of Selarong cave, we can see some kinds of open building and mosque, and there we can see the big of beringin tree who very shady.

After go to the yard of Selarong cave and buy the ticket, we can walk to parking area at inside we can see a sculputure of Pangeran Diponegoro, wear of white clothes and sit down to back of black horse. If we will go to Selarong cave, so we must to walk up by way of ladder. After arrived to upper side we can see two cave. One cave is male cave at the left and one cave is female cave at the right. At the upper side of Selarong cave, at the hill we can see some grave, some open build like post and stone house.

Now Selarong cave is place of tourism and place for camping, this place at 14 km from south of Yogyakarta city. Cave Selarong is a beautyfull place who that place some kinds of hills and growing a lot of tree. There is  some rivers and waterfall, two cave and  small pool of water to took ritual washing, and we can take apray in the place.There are some kinds of playing to child at the park, like up and down,sway,etc.When we are there, we can feel enjoy and feel queit.

After arrived the area yard of cave, we can walk to way of ladder to the hills at left we can see a river and beautyfull waterfall. At the upper side we can see realm of nature. We can see too a padas bank who high and long.

After satisfied see realm of nature to upper side we can down to way of ladder, and after arrived under ladder we can see some fruit sell to result, like jambu and sirsak. This fruits is special fruit at Selarong. And now at Selarong area will be beginning to plant of Kelengkeng tree. One again Selarong cave will be tourism agro.

In holiday we can see some tourist come to Selarong cave for satisfied realm of nature and they went look at the history of Pangeran Diponegoro who very famous to spirit of strunggle to Indonesia. We must be proud that country have a lot of place history tourism and we must take care this place as devisa of country.
